Montreal Canadiens was founded 1909 in the province of Québec and plays in the Eastern Conference, Atlantic Division. The team plays its home games in Centre Bell in front of up to 21000 fans. Montreal Canadiens have won the Stanley Cup 24 times (1916, 1924, 1930, 1931, 1944, 1946, 1953, 1956, 1957, 1958, 1959, 1960, 1965, 1966, 1968, 1969, 1971, 1973, 1976, 1977, 1978, 1979, 1986 & 1993) and are part of the group of teams referred to as the Original Six (along with Blackhawks, Bruins, Rangers, Red Wings and Maple Leafs).The current roster includes Carey Price, Jeff Petry, Alexander Radulov, Andrej Markov, Brendan Gallagher, Tomáš Plekanec, Max Pacioretty and David Desharnais.Henri Richard, Maurice Richard, Guy Lafleur, Patrick Roy, Ken Dryden, Serge Savard, Guy Lapointe, Larry Robinson, Bob Gainey and Doug Gilmour are a few of the legends who have represented the club.
